Evan Reid is the founder of Tax Sale Atlas, a project of Amenti Labs LLC. He compiles the site's county and state tax-sale data from primary sources: state statutes and official county Tax Collector and Clerk of Court offices. He is not an attorney or a financial advisor, and Tax Sale Atlas does not provide legal or investment advice.

What Evan works on

Evan compiles the two layers of data behind Tax Sale Atlas: the per-state legal rules (sale type, interest rate, redemption period, bidding method, and governing statute) and the per-county logistics (which office runs each sale, when it happens, the auction platform, and where the lists are published). Each fact is taken from a primary source and carries the date it was last verified, so readers can check it themselves.

The editorial priority is the tax-deed and rural-land buyer, whose hardest problem is valuing a parcel before the auction. Guides carry his byline, and the county and state data show the source and verification date on every displayed fact.

Not legal or financial advice

Evan is not an attorney or a financial advisor, and Tax Sale Atlas is not a law firm or an advisory service. The site organizes sourced, plain-language tax-sale information and points to the official sources behind it. Tax-sale investing carries real risk and the rules change, so confirm the current process with the county and consider a licensed professional before you bid.
